Rebecca Currier Curran

Rebecca Currier Curran serves as the Medical Director of Informatics and Clinical Efficiency at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center since July 2020, focusing on health IT processes and providing support for healthcare providers. Additional roles include being a primary care physician, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Utah Health, and a former Visiting Instructor in Family & Preventive Medicine. Rebecca completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and holds an MD/PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Prior experience includes residency training and serving as a pre-doctoral fellow in the Medical Scientist Training Program. Current projects involve optimizing electronic health record alerts and reducing documentation redundancy.
