Katherine Bird

Katherine Bird is an experienced professional in education and writing, currently serving as the Religious Education Coordinator at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish since July 2018. Prior to this role, Katherine was a stay-at-home parent after working as a preschool teacher at Calvary United Methodist Young Children's School from August 2015 to August 2017. Katherine has a background in journalism from the University of South Carolina, where a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism was earned in 2014. Additional writing experience includes freelance positions with Chattanooga Times Free Press and East Tennessee Catholic, and internships at The Post and Courier and Target Publishing Group. Katherine also contributed to media relations at the University of South Carolina, showcasing versatility in both educational and journalistic fields.
