Michele L.

Michele L. has a diverse range of work experience spanning several years. Michele started their career at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center as a Patient Education Clinical Coordinator, where they coordinated and developed inpatient and outpatient education, as well as community outreach and health promotion activities. Michele also served as the coordinator for a diabetes support group. Michele then joined Southeast Home Health, where they worked as a Clinical Nurse and later as a Diabetic Educator. In these roles, they coordinated care for patients with diabetes or pre-diabetes, acted as a liaison between physicians and patients, and analyzed data to ensure performance indicators were met. Michele went on to become an Instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University, teaching there for five years. Michele then became the Dean of Health Science and Nursing at Northshore Technical Community College, where they oversaw and managed all health science programs within their division, ensuring compliance with regulations. Currently, Michele is the Senior Director of Operations at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital.

Michele L. earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University in 2001. Michele further pursued their education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Adult Health Nurse/Nursing. In 2005, Michele completed their Master of Nursing degree at Louisiana State University, specializing in Adult Health Nurse/Nursing and Clinical Nurse Specialist. Michele then went on to enroll at Southeastern Louisiana University, where they completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing from 2012 to 2015.
