Hin Kwan Roland Wong

Hin Kwan Roland Wong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Hin Kwan Roland is currently working at Our Next Energy (ONE) as a Principal Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Rivian as a Sr. Staff Battery Systems Engineer. At Jaguar Land Rover, they held the positions of Lead Modelling Engineer and Research Engineer, where they were responsible for developing battery degradation warranty models and analyzing warranty risk. Hin Kwan Roland also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Warwick Manufacturing Group, Institute of Digital Healthcare. Early in their career, they served as an IT specialist at Sytner Group Ltd, where they upgraded computer hardware and software for automotive dealership franchises.

Hin Kwan Roland Wong received their education from various prestigious institutions. Hin Kwan Roland first pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Warwick, completing it in 2009. Hin Kwan Roland then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick and earned it in 2013. In parallel, they also pursued a Doctor in de Ingenieurswetenschappen (Dr. Ir.) degree in Systems Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they also completed in 2013. Prior to their higher education, Hin Kwan Roland Wong attended Warwick School from 2001 to 2005.
