Mujeeb Ijaz

Mujeeb Ijaz is the Founder and CEO of Our Next Energy, a company that is working on developing new energy storage solutions. Prior to Our Next Energy, Mujeeb worked at Apple for six years as the Senior Director of Special Projects for Energy Storage. Before their time at Apple, Mujeeb was the Chief Technology Officer at A123 Systems, LLC. While at A123 Systems, Mujeeb led the creation of A123 Venture Technologies and was responsible for driving core materials research and new product development. As a result of their work, the company was able to produce battery systems for the Fisker Karma and Chevrolet Spark EV. Prior to their time at A123 Systems, Mujeeb worked as a Manager of Electric and Fuel Cell Vehicle Engineering at Ford Motor Company.

Mujeeb Ijaz completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech.
