Vignesh Sekar

Vignesh Sekar currently serves as the Director of Product Engineering at Our Next Energy (ONE) since June 2023, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on cell integration and module design for automotive applications. Prior to this role, Vignesh worked at Rivian from May 2017 to June 2023, progressing from a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to Sr. Staff Engineer (Engineering Manager), overseeing battery enclosure and architecture integration for various vehicle programs including R1T/R1S and Commercial Vans. Vignesh's early career includes positions at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and internships in vehicle integration and closure design within academic and industry collaborations, including CUICAR's Deep Orange program. Vignesh holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.
