Pooja Rami

Pooja Rami is the current General Counsel at Our Place. Pooja has previous experience working as an Associate General Counsel at Glossier, Inc. from December 2018 to December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director and Senior Corporate Counsel on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Teams at Avon from April 2016 to December 2018. Rami began their legal career as a Summer Associate on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Teams at Covington & Burling in May 2012 and then joined Debevoise & Plimpton as an Associate in September 2013, where they worked on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Teams. Pooja also completed two Summer Associateships with Debevoise & Plimpton in June 2011 and June 2010. Rami started their professional career as a Forensic Accounting Summer Intern at PwC in June 2009.

Pooja Rami attended the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Operations Management. Pooja then attended Harvard Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law.

Pooja Rami reports to Shiza Shahid, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Shadaylah Byrd - Creative Project Manager, Will Williams - VP, Global Retail, and Kate M. - SVP, Digital Product.
