Caron Myers

Caron Myers is a seasoned journalist and media professional with extensive experience in various roles spanning more than two decades. Currently serving as a journalist at WTOB-AM Big 1380 Good Guys Oldies Radio Station Studios since October 2015, Caron also owns The Caron Myers Media Group, which specializes in producing turnkey print and video projects. As a freelance writer for Our State Magazine since July 2011, Caron focuses on historical storytelling. Previous positions include multimedia specialist at GateHouse Media, executive director of communications for the Alamance-Burlington School System, team leader at Viamedia, and television reporter for FOX 8 WGHP. Caron holds a Master's degree in Broadcast Communications and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science & Media Performance, both from Florida State University, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Tallahassee State College.
