Bertha Rohenkohl, PhD, currently serves as the Research and Data Economics Lead at Our World in Data, focusing on making research related to global poverty, inequality, and labor more accessible and understandable. Previously, Bertha held the position of Principal Economist at the Institute for the Future of Work, leading a significant research project in collaboration with Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Christopher Pissarides. Bertha's academic contributions include a Visiting Fellow role at The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Sheffield, where research focused on labor productivity and socioeconomic outcomes. Bertha has a background in teaching at various academic levels and conducting econometric analyses for notable institutions, including The World Bank. Educational credentials include a PhD in Economics from The University of Sheffield, alongside multiple master's degrees in Economic Development and Growth from Lund University and the University of Warwick.
