Joshua van Patter

Joshua Van Patter is a seasoned motion designer and filmmaker with extensive experience in post and production. Currently serving as Motion Lead at ŌURA, Joshua has collaborated across multiple campaigns and played a key role in creating brand narratives. As the owner and operator of Joshua VP Filming & Editing LLC since 2007, Joshua specializes in post-production, field production, and camera rental, having worked with notable brands such as Nike and Amazon. Previous positions include roles at AKQA, Watts Media, Roundhouse, Columbia Sportswear Company, LeMans Corporation, and Colle McVoy, where Joshua developed creative video content across various industries. Joshua holds a B.S. in Visualization from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and has earned recognition with multiple awards, including Vimeo Staff Picks and accolades from SXSW.
