Tuomas Perkkiö

Tuomas Perkkiö is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in PCB and PWB layout design. Currently serving as a Senior Layout Design Engineer at ŌURA since August 2022, Perkkiö previously held the position of Senior Design Engineer in PCB layout at Detection Technology from March 2021 to August 2022, managing all aspects of PCB design including specifications and manufacturing development. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Design Engineer for PWB Layout at Polar Electro Oy, where responsibilities encompassed the design of PCBs for sports watches and sensors, as well as documentation and panelization. Earlier in the career at PKC Electronics, Perkkiö contributed as an HW designer, focusing on schematics, product development, and providing technical support in an international setting. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Designing and Testing from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2011.
