Roman Katz

Roman Katz is an accomplished professional in the automotive sector with extensive experience in business development, particularly focused on OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the EMEA region, currently serving as Business Development Director at Ouster since January 2020. Prior to this role, Roman held various positions at Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH, including Head of Reference & Tools, where responsibilities included leadership of a specialized team and strategic development of high-tech reference solutions. Roman's career also includes research roles at prestigious institutions such as DoCoMo Euro-Labs, the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
