Sterling Jasa-Phillips

Sterling Jasa-Phillips serves as the Associate Director of Events at Out & Equal since March 2022, overseeing both in-person and virtual elements of key events like the Executive Forum and Workplace Summit, which focus on LGBTQI+ workforce equity and inclusion. Previously, Sterling held roles such as Event Manager at the Open Geospatial Consortium, where event strategy led to significant increases in registration and attendance, and Co-Founder of Jasa Phillips Creative, an integrated marketing agency for minority-owned businesses. Additional experience includes various production and management positions at the Venice Institute for Performing Arts, where operations were significantly enhanced to increase annual profits, as well as early roles in retail and benefits consulting. Sterling possesses a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences from the Rochester Institute of Technology and participated in Leadership Sarasota County in 2019.
