Dan Levi

Dan Levi is a board member at OAAA. Dan was previously the Chief Marketing Officer at Captivate Network from September 2012 to March 2015. At Captivate, they led the marketing, research, programming, and creative departments, overseeing a staff of 18 across North America. Dan restructured the marketing organization, and established strategic direction and sales & marketing programs that drove double-digit year-over-year revenue growth, and expansion of audience reach by more than 60%. Dan was also the board-level marketing lead for all mergers and acquisitions activity, including the acquisition of Captivate by private equity firm, Generation Partners, and the acquisition and integration of the Wall St. Journal Office Network. In addition, they led the strategy to integrate Captivate with digital advertising technologies, including programmatic ad exchanges, dynamically-updated digital content, and mobile engagement platforms. Dan negotiated a partnership with xAd mobile ad network, which generated over $1MM in incremental revenue in the first 3 months. Dan also supervised industry-leading market research, including the Office Pulse online research panel through which 40+ annual thought leadership & ad effectiveness studies are executed on behalf of Captivate and clients. Finally, they negotiated mutually-beneficial partnerships with a broad range of industry-leading creative & media organizations, including the Wall St. Journal, Tribeca Film Festival, 4A’s, Crain’s and MediaPost.
