Stephen Langella has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Stephen is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering at Outcomes™ since July 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Cardinal Health, including Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Software Engineering from November 2016 to July 2023. Stephen also served as the Director of Software Engineering at Cardinal Health's innovation center, Fuse, from March 2014 to November 2016. Stephen Langella co-founded Inventrio in 2010 and served as the CEO and Founding Partner until March 2014. At Inventrio, they led the development of a service-oriented healthcare platform. Before that, they worked at Ohio State University as the Co-Director of the Software Research Institute from October 2002 to April 2010. During their tenure, they grew the research team and played a significant leadership role in projects related to cancer research. Stephen began their career at General Electric as a Software Engineer after being recruited through their corporate technology leadership program. During this time, they worked on software projects for various GE businesses while pursuing a Master of Computer Science degree part-time.
Stephen Langella attended the University at Buffalo from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2002, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
