Dominik Huber

Dominik Huber is a Senior Research Manager at Outdooractive, with extensive experience in tourism research and academic roles. Huber has been a Network Partner for tourismus plan B GmbH since April 2019, focusing on citizen engagement in tourism development. Previous positions include a Postdoctoral Fellow at Auckland University of Technology, where the role involved collaborative research with the New Zealand Tourism Research Institute, and a Research Assistant at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, where qualitative and quantitative studies were conducted on asylum seekers in Bavaria. Huber's academic contributions include a Teaching Fellowship at Victoria University of Wellington and various research assistant positions at Auckland University of Technology and the New Zealand Tourism Research Institute. Huber holds a PhD in Tourism from Auckland University of Technology and a German University Diploma in Geography from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
