Rok Piltaver

Rok Piltaver is an experienced data scientist and academic specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies in Rijeka, Rok teaches Data Intensive Applications while also holding a Senior Data Scientist position at OUTFIT7 since 2019, focusing on matchmaking systems and game performance modeling. Previous roles include postdoctoral research at the Jozef Stefan Institute, where Rok contributed to AI research and project leadership, as well as senior software engineering at Celtra, Inc., where responsibilities included ad analytics and infrastructure development. Rok holds a Ph.D. in Data Mining from Mednarodna podiplomska šola Jožefa Stefana and has a B.Sc. from the University of Ljubljana.
