Ian Grayson

Ian Grayson has diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ian started their career at Amazon in 2010 as a Software Engineer, where they gained valuable knowledge in agile prototyping, experimentation, and data-driven development. During their time at Amazon, they worked on various projects, including the development of a modularized Ruby on Rails ecosystem to replace the outdated perl/mason system.

In 2015, Ian joined Convoy Inc as a Principal Software Engineer. Ian played a crucial role in the company's founding, leading the technology choices and usage, team culture, engineering hiring and standards, and roadmap prioritization. Ian also led several technical domains, such as scaling PostgresSQL usage, implementing docker-based development and deployment, and building data analytics pipelines.

Currently, Ian is working as a Software Engineer at Outgo, starting in 2022. Further information about their role and responsibilities at Outgo is not provided.

Ian Grayson completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science and German Literature from Cornell University, graduating in 2008. Ian then pursued further studies at Cornell University and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Science in 2010.
