Michelle Guarino

Michelle Guarino has a diverse work experience in design roles. Michelle is currently working as the Director of Design, Brand & Product at Outgo since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior product designer and Design systems lead at Yohana from September 2020 to June 2021. From October 2018 to August 2020, they worked as an Experience Designer at Airbnb. Before that, they held roles in Axon as a Senior Product Designer from November 2017 to September 2018, and as a Product Designer from June 2015 to November 2017. Michelle also worked as a Designer at Microsoft from August 2013 to May 2015. Michelle has previous experience at Carnegie Mellon University as the Head Orientation Counselor from January 2012 to December 2012, and as a Teaching Assistant from August 2010 to December 2012. Additionally, they had internships at Microsoft as a User Experience Intern in 2012 and at FutureBrand as a Design Intern in 2011.

Michelle Guarino attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design. Apart from their formal education, Michelle has also completed a certification in Storytelling for Influence from IDEO; however, the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
