Ellie Portugali's work experience includes a variety of roles in technology companies. Ellie is currently the VP R&D at OUTLOCKS, where they oversee software development and leads projects on data and machine learning. Ellie also plays an active role in planning and designing physical products and go-to-market strategies.

Prior to that, Ellie worked at Igentify as the Chief Architect and Lead AI ML and Research. Ellie collaborated with stakeholders to synchronize business and development efforts and developed pipelines for clinical indications.

Before their role at Igentify, Ellie co-founded Upupa Media and served as the CTO & VP Engineering. Ellie developed cloud provisioning infrastructure, synchronized mobile devices, and provided custom digital solutions and campaign management services.

Ellie also gained experience at AT&T Labs, Inc. as a Technology Lead and at SafeSide Technologies as the VP R&D and co-Founder. Additionally, they worked at Imperative Networks, Inc. as the Director of Software R&D and Architecture and at Etagon, Inc. as the NMS Team Lead.

Earlier in their career, Ellie worked at Celltick Technologies, Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, and at Lockheed Martin Information Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. Ellie also served as the IT & Software Manager at T.D.M Inc.

Throughout their career, Ellie has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including Java, JavaScript, Node, PHP, Bash, and Python.

Ellie Portugali completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Mathematics from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. After their undergraduate degree, Ellie pursued continued education through various courses. In 2017, they obtained a certification in JavaScript 6 (ES6) Course. Ellie also completed a certification in Serverless Design with AWS Lambda, earning the badge associated with it.
