Emil Lagerqvist

Emil Lagerqvist is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance and engineering, currently serving as Manager Business Support at Outokumpu since September 2022. Previously, Emil held the position of Supplier Quality Assurance at BAE Systems Bofors from May 2020 to September 2022. At Ovako Group, from April 2017 to May 2020, Emil worked as a Production Quality Engineer focused on quality assurance within the "Pre-components" production area, and also as a Process Development Engineer managing optimization projects and claims investigations. Emil began as a Graduate Engineering Trainee, gaining comprehensive exposure to the steelmaking process, and briefly worked as a Distribution Planner at Swedev AB. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Bergsskolan and completion of the Aviation College of Sweden program.
