Erkki Alarousu

Erkki Alarousu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and research within the field of optoelectronics. Currently serving as a Project Manager and previously as a Project Engineer at Outokumpu since January 2020, Erkki has a strong background as a Research Scientist at KAUST, where contributions included establishing ultrafast laser spectroscopy laboratories and overseeing their operation. Prior experience includes research and development roles at the University of Oulu, focusing on optical measurement methods and assisting in teaching, as well as a visiting research position at the Flexible Display Center at Arizona State University. Erkki holds a D.Sc. (Tech.) in Optoelectronics and Measurement Techniques and an M.Sc. (Tech.) in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Oulu.
