Jesper Janis

Jesper Janis is an experienced professional in metallurgical process science, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Investments at Outokumpu since April 2010, while previously holding roles such as Technical and Quality Manager and Technical Manager at Outokumpu Avesta Works. In these positions, Jesper has been responsible for process development, product quality assurance, and leading teams to enhance production efficiency. Prior experience at SSAB involved educating operators and contributing to maintenance system development. Jesper holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Process Science and an M.Sc. in Applied Process Metallurgy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
