Michaela Shirley

Michaela Shirley has over a decade of experience in environmental compliance within the metal manufacturing industry. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Specialist and Emissions Control Systems Coordinator at Outokumpu since February 2011, Michaela has also held the position of Environmental Technician at ThyssenKrupp Stainless from February 2011 to October 2022. In these roles, responsibilities have included managing emissions controls, conducting environmental audits, monitoring wastewater parameters, and supporting hazardous waste management and recycling efforts. Additionally, Michaela has contributed to the preparation of environmental reports, stormwater inspections, and ISO-14001 certification processes. Michaela holds a Master's degree in International Business from The University of Alabama.
