Howell Moffett

Howell Moffett is an accomplished immunologist currently serving as Associate Director of Immunology at Outpace Bio since November 2020. Previously, Howell held the position of Principal Scientist at the same organization after working as a Senior Research Scientist at Lyell Immunopharma and a Research Associate at Fred Hutch. Howell's expertise includes developing methods for immunogenetic engineering of primary B cells to create engineered monoclonal antibody therapeutic B cells and demonstrating their antiviral activity in mouse models. During postdoctoral research at both Harvard Medical School and Fred Hutch, Howell made significant contributions to understanding gene delivery platforms and identifying key roles of microRNAs in T cell function during viral infections. Howell's academic background includes a PhD in Immunology from Harvard Medical School and a BS in Biology from Reed College.
