Tom Barber

Tom Barber is an accomplished VFX Executive Producer with extensive experience in visual effects production, currently at Outpost VFX since November 2019. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions at Moving Picture Company from February 2014 to November 2019, including VFX Producer, VFX Digital Producer, VFX Production Manager, VFX Production Coordinator, and VFX Runner/Production Assistant, where responsibilities encompassed client management, financial oversight, team leadership, and project scheduling. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Ecologist at QEII National Trust and as a Field Worker at Boffa Miskell, focused on ecosystem management and ornithological studies. Tom holds a Master of Science in Ecology from Massey University, complemented by postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in ecological restoration and biodiversity.
