Tobias Winblad

Tobias Winblad's work experience begins in 2011 at The University of British Columbia, where they worked as an Assistant Researcher investigating the use and portrayal of violence and crime in Scandinavian Cinema. Tobias then moved on to being a Researcher focused on the film "Paranormal Activity" and its potential as a cult film. In 2013, Tobias worked as a Cinematography Teaching Assistant at Vancouver Film School. From 2015 onwards, Tobias joined Moving Picture Company, initially starting as a Production Coordinator before moving up to become a Production Manager and then an Associate Producer. Tobias'smost recent position was as a Visual Effects Producer at Untold Studios, a role they started in February 2023.

Tobias Winblad began their education at the International School of Düsseldorf in 2001, where they completed their high school education as well as the International Baccalaureate program. Afterward, they pursued their passion for film by attending The University of British Columbia from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Studies. Seeking further specialization, Winblad then enrolled at Vancouver Film School for one year, from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they focused on producing and directing, studying Film Production.
