Vlasis Gogousis

Vlasis Gogousis is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in visual effects and animation. Currently serving as a Senior Pipeline Technical Director at Outpost VFX since November 2022, Vlasis previously held the role of Software Technical Director at Moving Picture Company, where significant contributions included enhancing scatter rendering capabilities, developing caching methods, and creating tools for motion capture integration. With prior experience as an Assistant Technical Director at Double Negative, Vlasis focused on production optimization through automation and software development. Additional roles include work as a 3D artist, technical illustrator, freelance illustrator, and a teaching assistant in computer science fundamentals. Vlasis holds a Master of Arts in 3D Computer Animation from Bournemouth University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
