Aleksandr Tsykunov

Aleksandr Tsykunov has over 18 years of experience in various roles in the IT industry. Aleksandr is currently employed as a Senior Data Engineer at Outra, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CaboodleAI as a Senior Data Engineer from October 2019 to October 2021. Aleksandr also served as a Team Lead and Senior Data Engineer at Lohika, a digital media agency, from August 2016 to September 2018.

Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems from February 2015 to May 2016, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Fourth from July 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a DB/BI Developer and Team Lead at SoftServe from August 2010 to June 2014.

Earlier in their career, Aleksandr worked as a Director of the IT department and Software Developer at Vodomir from March 2008 to August 2010, and as a Software Developer and IT Director of Crimea branch at LIA LTD from November 2003 to February 2008. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in various technologies and tools such as MS SQL Server, MongoDB, AWS, Jenkins, Python, Oracle ExaData, Delphi, and Java.

Aleksandr Tsykunov earned a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from East-Ukrainian National University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including the Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization and Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in 2019. Aleksandr also holds certifications in Big Data Modeling and Management Systems from the University of California San Diego in 2017, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development MCP from Microsoft in 2013, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associates from Oracle in 2012, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development from Microsoft in 2011, and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associates from Oracle in 2008.
