Shaoqian Yuan

Shaoqian Yuan has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in both large corporations and start-up environments. They started their career at Microsoft in 2008 as a Software Development Engineer and worked there for six years, eventually reaching the position of Software Development Engineer 2. In 2014, they joined Facebook as a Staff Software Engineer and worked on various projects such as the Voice Assistant Product Infrastructure and Next-Gen voice Assistant Experience for FB smart glasses, Portals, Oculus, and more. In 2022, Shaoqian joined Fast as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, later moving on to Affirm as a Senior Staff Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer at Outreach, working on a voice intelligence platform and speech recognition pipeline.

Shaoqian Yuan completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University (CN) from 2005 to 2008.
