Surendra Raju Katari

Surendra Raju Katari has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Surendra Raju began their career at Novell as a Senior SDE from September 1999 to March 2001. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Microsoft, initially as an SDE II and later as a Technical Lead at Windows Phone Services. Following that, they joined Microsoft as a Senior SDE/Architect from March 2011 to September 2013. Surendra Raju then worked at Expedia as a Big Data Architect from September 2013 to July 2014. Subsequently, they joined Amazon as a Senior SDE/Big Data Engineer from August 2014 to August 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they served as an Engineering Manager at Elementum. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Manager at Outreach, a role they have held since August 2020.

Surendra Raju Katari completed their B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University from 1994 to 1997. Surendra Raju then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science from Allahabad University from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Surendra Raju Katari has obtained several certifications in the field of Machine Learning and Hadoop. Surendra Raju received certifications in Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Regression, and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015 and 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the Hadoop Developer & Administrator certification from Cloudera in 2013.
