Cornelius Leary, III

Cornelius Leary, III has a diverse work experience in engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer, Simulation at Outrider. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Computer Engineer II at DCS Corp. From 2018-2019, they were an Engineering Intern in the Control Systems Engineering Directorate at Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (formerly Orbital ATK). In 2017, they were an Undergraduate Researcher on the agBOT competition team in the TREC Lab. In 2016, they founded and was Team Leader/Systems Engineer for Red Planet Robotics. In 2015, they were an Engineering Design Team Member on the Autonomy Team for VT Astrobotics and a volunteer in the Mechatronics Lab at Virginia Tech. From 2014-2015, they were a Dean's Team Member and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech College of Engineering. From 2013-2014, they were a Galileo-Hypatia Leadership Team Member at the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity at Virginia Tech.
