Robin Roston

Robin Roston has over 8 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. In 2021, they began working at Outrider as a Senior Engineer, Platform Integration. Theirrole involves improving on-vehicle debug processing, developing and managing hardware in the loop (HIL) test assets, and creating strategies for emerging logistic robotics technology. From 2015 to 2021, Robin worked at Ford Motor Company in various roles, including ADAS Integration Engineer - Level II Autonomous Systems, Vehicle Integration Engineer (FCG), Software & Controls Engineer I (FCG), and Program NVH Engineer (FCG). In 2014, they were an intern at Ford Motor Company as a Vehicle Dynamics Intern. From 2013 to 2014, Robin worked at the Virginia Tech College of Engineering as a VTMotorsportd Front and Rear Upright Design and NSF REU Summer Undergraduate Researcher - Center for Tire Research.

Robin Roston is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech College of Engineering in 2015. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Udemy, LinkedIn, and Coursera in Python OOP, Agile Testing, Neural Networks and Convolutional Neural Networks Essential Training, and Robotics: Aerial Robotics, respectively.
