William A. Hamlin has over 35 years of experience in the maritime transportation and logistics industry. William A. began their career in 1984 as General Manager of Brazil & Saudi Arabia for United States Lines. In 1986, they joined Sea-Land Service, Inc. as Vice President of Global Transportation & Equipment Operations, where they managed a budget of $700M and reduced global costs by $70M. In 1999, they joined APL as President of the Americas Region, where they managed the P&L and oversaw Sales, Marketing, Marine/Equipment Operations and Inland Transportation. In 2011, they became Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Horizon Lines, LLC, where they reported to the CEO and managed a budget of $1B with oversight of 300 staff members. In 2016, they joined ITS Technologies & Logistics as Chief Operating Officer, where they directed operations at a leading provider of rail intermodal terminal, container yard and auto loading-unloading services with revenues of $400M+. In 2019, they became Partner at Gray Wolf Group, Advisory Services, where they improved business performance through management consulting services focused on the individual, the team and the mission. William A. also became Sr. Director of Customer Planning & Strategy at Outrider.
William A. Hamlin received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Maine. William A. also attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for their Partnership Program and Executive Education Program.
