Delphina Yuen

Delphina Yuen is the Head of Legal at Outschool. Delphina was previously the Director of Legal at Lyft, where they worked for six and a half years. In this role, they managed a team of senior attorneys to provide legal counsel on complex issues spanning operating system strategy, consumer protection, advertising, data privacy and security, safety, and the general legal framework for consumer-facing software, hardware, and services.

Delphina has earned multiple promotions and risen from a frontline, product-focused role to lead critical teams and shape the strategic vision for legal activities across the company. Delphina has been recognized by Law.com’s The Recorder as a Women Leader in Tech Law: Next Generation Honoree in 2018, by Law.com as In-House Legal Department of the Year in 2017 and as a finalist for In-House Legal Department Most Innovative Public Company in 2020. Delphina has also received the Bar Association of San Francisco - Outstanding Large Law Department Award 2020.

Delphina Yuen majored in economics, education, and Asian American studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. Delphina then went on to earn their Master of Science in Education from Syracuse University in the field of cultural foundations of education. Finally, Delphina Yuen completed their Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law. Delphina is also certified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
