Julie Connor

Julie Connor, Ed.D., is a TED speaker and professional presenter, inspiring audiences across North America through motivational talks. As an online educator at Outschool since 2018, Julie specializes in public speaking and communication skills for teens, offering various courses aimed at personal development and conflict resolution. In conjunction with Sources of Strength since 2019, Julie empowers peer leaders and adults to prevent suicide and violence through community strength-building initiatives. Julie has held positions in academia as an adjunct instructor at the University of Kansas and UMKC, and has extensive experience as an instructional coach and teacher in Kansas City Public Schools, alongside previous roles in youth ministry and education. Julie holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and possesses multiple degrees in education from the University of Central Missouri.
