Shawn Walk

Shawn Walk is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with a strong focus on teaching coding and creativity to children. As the Owner and Lead Instructor at Create2Discover since May 2019, Shawn develops online classes that empower kids aged 7-14 to harness their creativity through projects such as video games and Minecraft mods. In addition to this role, Shawn serves as an Online Coding Instructor for Outschool, offering engaging coding classes for the same age group. Previously, Shawn was the Owner of Hi-Tech Learning, LLC, where responsibilities included business operations and program development from February 2012 to December 2017. Shawn also taught 4th and 5th graders in all core subjects at Quaker Valley School District from August 2002 to June 2013, where advanced math instruction was a key focus. Shawn holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University.
