Charlie Woodcock

Charlie started his career in Sydney in the middle office in the late 90’s, soon progressing to a cash/facilitation trading role at Deutsche Bank. In 2004 he was he was hired to run the risk trading book and execution for the Australian REITS book at Merrill Lynch.

Charlie was promoted to Director and moved to New York with Merrill Lynch to cover facilitation trading for the APAC ADR Desk. He then moved to Hong Kong in 2012 with RenCap as head of APAC trading. For the last 6 years he has been the Head Trader for a quant fund and a few long/short hedge funds trading Asia Pacific equites out of Hong Kong.
