Alonso Mendoza is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in quality engineering and operations. Alonso has a diverse range of expertise in ISO13485, FDA, and 21 CFR 820 normative, as well as lean manufacturing and industrial engineering principles.

Most recently, Alonso has served as the Director of Quality Engineering at Outset Medical, Inc., where they oversee quality engineering processes in a Medtech environment. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Manager of Quality Engineering at the same company, responsible for design quality engineering, post-market surveillance, and quality operations.

Before joining Outset Medical, Alonso worked at Cardinal Health, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. Alonso served as the Quality Operations Manager, overseeing quality operating areas and leading quality engineering and post-market surveillance teams. Alonso also worked as the QA Operations Superintendent, responsible for quality operating areas, quality engineering, calibration engineering, and PMI/validation engineering teams. Earlier in their career at Cardinal Health, Alonso was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on production process capability improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

Prior to Cardinal Health, Alonso worked at Magna Powertrain as a Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, they led the implementation of manufacturing engineering-related quality operating system elements and played an active role in plant-level improvements and customer satisfaction.

Alonso holds several certifications, including CMQ/OE, CQE, CSSGB, CSSBB, and an MBA. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in quality engineering, strategic planning, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and project management.

Alonso Mendoza has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Quality and Productivity from Universidad Tecmilenio, obtained in 2018. Alonso also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, completed between 2007 and 2011. In terms of certifications, Alonso is an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, acquired in 2019. Alonso also holds certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, obtained between 2017 and 2018.
