Duane Berlin

Duane Berlin is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Outside GC LLC since December 2021, where the firm provides efficient legal services akin to in-house counsel without increasing client headcount. Previously, Duane was the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Aura from August 2015 to November 2021, overseeing all legal and regulatory affairs for a leading personal cyber-security provider. Additional experience includes a tenure as General Counsel at CASRO (now the Insights Association) for nearly two decades, where Duane significantly contributed to the organization's legal framework, and as a Principal at Lev & Berlin, P.C., managing a successful corporate law practice. Education includes a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a BA in Philosophy and Politics from Brandeis University. Duane also held positions on the board of The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association's Media and the Law Section.
