Kristen Gonzalez Mph

Kristen Gonzalez, MPH, currently serves as the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program Manager at Outside In since September 2021 and as the Harm Reduction Outreach Coordinator at South West Louisiana Area Health Education Center since May 2020. Kristen has previous experience as a Public Health Intern at Terrebonne Parish Health Unit, where participation in health promotion and community-based projects, particularly for LGBTQ+ needs assessment, took place. Earlier roles included serving as an Executive Assistant/Marketing Assistant at LeBlanc & Associates LLC, applying OSHA and FEMA regulations, and as an Administrative Management Specialist in the United States Marine Corps, where leadership and workflow improvements were emphasized. Kristen holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from American Military University, along with a high school diploma from Ellender Memorial High School.
