Philip Smith is currently a PhD student specializing in Nuclear Physics at the University of Bristol, where involvement as a Nuclear Energy Futures CDT Student includes volunteering at prominent science festivals. In addition to academic pursuits, Philip serves as an Associate Consultant at Outsmart Insight, engaging in ongoing projects related to emerging trends and technology watch. Previous roles include Graduate Teacher and Sustainability Champion at the University of Bristol Students' Union, where efforts focused on enhancing sustainability in the curriculum. Philip has also contributed as a Researcher at Six Degrees, leading statistical analysis on climate resilience in Cambodia, and gained laboratory experience as a Quality Control Technician at The Estée Lauder Companies. Earlier roles include management and lifeguarding positions in recreational settings. Education includes a BSc in Chemistry and Physical Sciences from the University of Plymouth, following A Levels and GCSEs.
