Chrp® Mary Castro

Mary Castro, CHRP®, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mary has held various leadership roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer at Outsource Access and Head of Human Resources at Vifel Ice Plant & Cold Storage.

Prior to these positions, Mary served as the People Operations Head and Regional Operation Site Head at Lead Logistics Innovations Inc., where they oversaw day-to-day operations, managed a large team, and implemented strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs. Mary also held the role of HR & Admin Manager at the same company, where they were responsible for overseeing HR and administrative functions, managing a team, enforcing policies and procedures, and handling employee relations.

Mary's earlier work experience includes positions such as Branch OIC Mindanao at Topserve Service Solutions Inc., where they oversaw operations, managed recruitment and staffing professionals, and handled client and candidate relations. Mary also served as the Administrative Service Division Officer at DAVAO CONCRETE POLES CORPORATION.

Mary's career began as a General Manager at United Wil and Manpower Services, where they developed and implemented business strategies, managed day-to-day operations, and built strong client relationships. Mary also served as a Branch Manager at Brave Knights Security Agency and General Services, where they led daily operations, managed personnel placement, built client relationships, and ensured compliance with company policies.

Throughout their career, Mary has demonstrated their commitment to driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Mary is skilled in team management, strategic planning, financial management, and compliance.

Mary Castro completed their education at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan from 2001 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with a field of study in Accounting. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they received the Safety Officer 1 - Basic Occupational Safety and Health certification from the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment. Mary also obtained the Safety Officer 2 - Basic Occupational Safety and Health certification from the same institution in the same year. In 2022, Mary obtained the Project Management Fundamentals certification from MSTCONNECT EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY. Most recently, in 2023, they attained the Certified Human Resources Professional designation from The International Federation of Professional Managers (IFPM) Philippines.
