Paulo Alves has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Paulo is currently working at OutSystems as a Lead Product Manager for their Cloud division. Prior to that, they worked at Critical TechWorks as a Product Visionary. At Siemens, they held the position of Innovation and Product Manager, overseeing innovation management, product management, and solution design for digital solutions. Paulo also served as a Project Manager at Siemens, working on projects related to information security, e-commerce, robotic process automation, and cloud solutions. Before joining Siemens, Paulo worked at CGI as a Project Manager and at Logica as a Technical Consultant. Paulo began their career at Jogos Santa Casa as a Senior ICT Engineer and later worked at Jazztel as an ICT Systems Architect and Administrator. Paulo started their career at Transtejo, Transportes Tejo S.A. as an Electronics and IT Engineer. Overall, Paulo has a diverse range of experience in product management, innovation management, project management, and technical roles.

Paulo Alves has a diverse education history. In 1995, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Instituto Politecnico de Tomar. Paulo then pursued a Post Graduation Program in Information Systems Development at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa from 2007 to 2008. In 2008 and 2009, they furthered their education with a Post Graduation Program in Information Systems Management, also at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Paulo completed a Postgraduate Degree in Enterprise Data Science & Analytics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Additionally, Paulo Alves has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist," "Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®)," "Advanced Certified ScrumMaster," "Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®)," and "ITIL v3 Foundation in IT Service Management," among others. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development in various areas of expertise.
