Matt S. has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies.

Matt is currently working at OutThink as the Chief Technology Officer since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head Of Engineering from March 2020 to August 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Cloud Technical Advisor at OutThink from January 2019 to February 2020, where they were involved in developing a web-based cognitive cybersecurity training and human risk intelligence platform.

Before joining OutThink, Matt worked at StatPro. Matt held the role of Enterprise Architect from August 2017 to February 2020, contributing to the design and development of a cloud-native technical vision and platform. Matt also served as the Chief Architect of Revolution Analytics, where they were responsible for the technical design, security, scalability, and technological advancement of the cloud-based StatPro Revolution Analytics platform. Matt played a crucial role in driving the adoption of new technologies, including public cloud resources and Big Data analytics. Prior to this, they served as a Technical Architect for Performance & Attribution/Fixed Income and as a Software Developer & Team Manager.

Matt's professional journey began at Electronic Data Systems, where they worked as a Systems Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

Through their various roles and companies, Matt has demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, architecture design, and technical implementation.

Matt S. pursued their undergraduate education from 1993 to 1996 at the University of Kent. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BEng(Hons)) degree in Computer Systems Engineering.

In addition to their degree, Matt S. also obtained several certifications. In January 2016, they received the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)². Furthermore, in February 2023, they acquired the Exam Development Cybersecurity Expert certification, also from (ISC)².
