Katie has worked at Outward Bound USA in various roles, including as a Staffing Manager, Trainer, and Course Director. Additionally, they have served at the North Carolina Outward Bound School as the Director of At-Risk Programs. Katie'swork at Rethreaded involved providing support to employees affected by trauma and addiction, showcasing their commitment to social welfare. Katie has also led programs focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, demonstrating their dedication to fostering inclusive environments.

Katie Dalbey earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Dickinson College in 2001. In 2019, they completed a Leadership in Executive and Administrative Development (LEAD) Certificate from Florida State University College of Social Work.
