Catherine Seriosa-Barker

Catherine Seriosa-Barker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Catherine began their career as a Photo Assistant at Curve Magazine, where they assisted with stock art, research, and photography. Catherine then worked as a Photo Assistant at JW Photography, where they managed equipment, props, and digital images. Catherine also gained experience as a Photo Assistant at Wired Magazine, where they maintained the photography department and acquired new photographers.

Afterwards, they transitioned to the retail sector and worked as a Store Manager at Starbucks. In this role, they managed a high-volume store, leading a team of up to 25 partners and handling scheduling, payroll, and retail launches.

Catherine then ventured into the e-commerce industry, working as a Web Content Coordinator at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., specifically at Pottery Barn, managing web content and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Catherine also served as a Photo Coordinator at West Elm, managing photo samples and organizing shipments.

In 2013, Catherine pursued their passion for photography and became a Photographer and Owner of Catherine Seriosa Photography. Catherine specialized in wedding, portrait, and family photography, capturing everyday moments with quality and humor.

Catherine'smost recent role was at Outward, Inc. as the Director of Visual Quality. Here they managed a creative team in creating 3D content for multiple projects and retail brands. Catherine also art directed 3D assets for various visual tools, working alongside production and engineering teams for scheduling and deliveries.

Throughout their career, Catherine has demonstrated a strong attention to detail, organization, and a creative eye.

Catherine Seriosa-Barker's education history includes attending Independence High School from 1997 to 2001. During their time at Independence High School, they focused on general studies with a particular emphasis on photography. After completing their high school education, Catherine went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Photography at the Academy of Art University. Catherine studied at the university from 2005 to 2010, specializing in the field of photography.
