Ben Eccersley

Ben Eccersley has extensive experience in educational leadership and geography. Currently serving as Assistant Principal and previously as Associate Assistant Principal and Second in Humanities at Outwood Grange Academies Trust since July 2018, Ben also contributes as a Postgraduate Fellow at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) since March 2017. Earlier roles include Activity Officer at Sheffield Hallam University from April 2015 to September 2017, Placement Student at Sustainable Aquatics Ltd from March 2016 to February 2017, Catering Team Member at Saunts Parties and Events from February 2014 to February 2017, and Sports Coach at First Step Sports Group from January 2013 to June 2014. Educational credentials include an MA in Digital Technologies, Communication, and Education from The University of Manchester, a PGCE in Secondary Geography from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Environmental Science from the same institution. Early education was completed at Wyke 6th Form College and Hull Trinity House School.
