Joe Morrin

Joe Morrin has extensive experience in the education sector, with a strong focus on teaching and leadership roles. Joe has worked in various schools and organizations throughout their career.

Their most recent position was at Outwood Grange Academies Trust, where they served as Vice Principal starting in 2023.

Before that, Joe worked at The Dukeries Academy as an Assistant Principal from 2022 to 2023 and as a Lead Practitioner for Teaching and Learning from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their roles in schools, they also worked at Pearson as an Examiner from 2007 to 2022.

Joe's other notable experiences include serving as a Trust Lead Practitioner responsible for RE and PSHE at The Brunts Academy from 2020 to 2021, a Research Lead Practitioner supporting Quality of Education at The Brunts Academy from 2019 to 2020, and a Lead Practitioner responsible for the Humanities Faculty at The Brunts Academy from 2018 to 2019.

Joe Morrin has a Master of Education (MEd) in Leadership and Management from The Open University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in Geography and English (Secondary) from Aberystwyth University from 2004 to 2005. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Geography from St Mary's University, Twickenham, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Joe Morrin also holds numerous additional certifications, including being an Open Water Scuba Instructor, Dive Leader, Master Diver, and Specialist Diver: Deep Diver in various years.
