Deyla then worked as an Accounting Clerk at Triad Broadcasting, where they handled various financial tasks such as bank reconciliation, invoicing, and journal entries.
After that, Deyla joined Walgreens as a Staff Accountant, taking on responsibilities such as bank statement reconciliation, collections management, and supervision of a team. Deyla then transitioned to the NYC Department of Education as a Billing Auditor, where they audited invoices, created spreadsheets, and contributed to the development of billing procedures.
Most recently, Deyla has been working at Ovation In-Store, initially as an Accounting Manager and later as the Director of Finance. In these roles, they have managed the company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processes. Deyla has also implemented templates and systems to support finance and accounting operations and played a key role in cost reporting and financial analysis.
